‘Death is a Part of Life’ - Ruth Berta, Ministry Student
As we fallible humans tend to forget, death is a part of life. But what really happens at the end of our life? How can we best support the dying and their caretakers along this often meaningful, definitely messy, always bittersweet journey toward one’s last breath? We will explore the topic of death and dying from the perspective of demystifying the ins and outs of serious illness, death, and grief. Special attention will be given to the difficult and sacrificial work of caretaking that is so often hidden in our world but ought to be celebrated.
