Intention
The purpose of this programme is twofold:
To help us explore some of the many ideas and predictions of the consequences of a post-pandemic on the UK and larger world. We want to ask how the pandemic might affect our approach to poverty? Climate change? Work? Healthcare? Capitalism?
To explore how we as individuals, as a community, and as a society can shape the direction of change.
Overview
Topics for each session will be identified in advance. The leaders of the group will provide resources for each session to offer a variety of perspectives about how the occurrence and ending of the Covid 19 (coronavirus) pandemic may affect various aspects of the world.
We want to ask how the pandemic might affect our approach to poverty, climate change, work, healthcare, capitalism and much more. And we want to explore how we as individuals, as a community, and as a society can shape the direction of change. Members will have opportunities to talk together in groups about the materials they’ve considered, their responses, and the actions that might help to shape the trajectory of change.
We have started a WhatsApp group which you can join to find resources to read and view, and also to consider potential topic choices. We intend to use this group to find and share resources together, and then come together for discussion around specific preselected topics.
Logistics
The group will meet via Zoom twice monthly from 6.30pm to 8.30pm BST on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month. Depending on the number of participants at each session, breakout groups may be used.
The group will co-create a shared document for each meeting that will summarise the information considered, the responses, and potential actions.

Participation
Anyone is welcome to participate. You need not attend every session. Drop in as suits you. That said, though, the more we participate, the deeper our shared understandings will become and the better we’ll be at discussing, analysing, and coming up with strategies!
