Our weekly session for children, held at Newington Green during our Sunday Gathering.

The children begin their time in the service. After 'a Time for All Ages' (a short story that introduces the theme of the day), the children and accompanying adults adjourn to a bright, comfortable upstairs room. There, the group divides into 2-6 year olds and 7-12 year olds. For under 2's, we provide a creche.

Each week the group explores different themes that help the children make ethical decisions and discover their own way through life. These themes are approached through arts & crafts projects, stories, and music & movement. Sessions are non-dogmatic and encourage the children to think for themselves.

The theme of this week's group is 'Our Local Community'. We'll be visiting our local community, looking at some of the problems around us and asking how we can fix them. Most of all, we'll ask what we, as young individuals, can do to make our local community a better place.
