We're aiming to improve community connections around Newington Green, by getting out into the community and meeting local people. This is an initial listening campaign, to establish what community issues are important to them.

On Sun 18th Feb, our Social Justice Team led a highly successful walk around the local Mayville Estate. If people weren't home they left a card. If someone answered the door, they introduced themselves as being from the New Unity Social Justice team, and asked a series of questions about their priorities for their local community.

A second event is planned for Sunday 4th March. The Social Justice Team would be delighted if other New Unity members could join them.

The team will meet just after the Sunday Gathering, assembling from 12.30 at Belle Epoque (the cafe next to New Unity's Meeting House). At 12.45 they'll head out to Mayville Estate for an hour, then regroup at Belle Epoque for a coffee and debrief at 13:45.
