One of the most pernicious and persistent ways we label human beings is by race. Although the notion of racial groupings has no sound basis in biology, the habits and impacts of race-labelling remain powerful and damaging in human society.
What is the basis of race labels? Why are we so insistent on using them despite the harm they cause? What can we do about it?
