The Unity Project is a New Unity initiative providing community support and legal advice for destitute migrants. The project will launch on Tuesday 30th May and continue each Tuesday thereafter.

This free training session will give potential volunteers an introduction to the project and an overview of the hostile environment in which many migrants are struggling to survive.  It will also address some of the more detailed aspects of casework support needed for immigration applications.

We particularly need people to do:

(1) general welcoming and social support

(2) working with chefs and collecting food

(3) creative childcare

(4) casework

Whatever your skills or interests, if you are planning to volunteer, or even if you are just considering it, we would love to see you there!
