Our weekly Sunday Gathering is a chance to meet other New Unity members, to be uplifted by the message, to share joys and sorrows, to feel togetherness. This week we discuss a case study which was explored in the prologue of Malcolm Gladwell's book, Outliers. Gladwell talked about an immigrant town in America that had italian ex-patriats. Doctors realised people from this town weren't dying from heart disease like so many other people around that time and it wasn't due to a difference in their genes or way of life or anything like that. They realised it was a sense of community which helped them beat the adverse effects of the rat race. We wonder how community informs science.
