We have Courts of Justice, but is it really justice that they are dispensing? New Unity member Nick Lewis will discuss the relationship between justice and law, a subject that he frequently considered in a decades-long career as an attorney. The talk will focus on the purpose of law and the impact of cynicism about the possibility for justice in the judicial system.

Biography

Nick lewis recently moved to London from the New York City area, where he spent much of the past 35-40 years working as an attorney, representing labour unions, pension funds, victims of discrimination, class actions, the elderly and, for three years, the Australian Baseball League. He is currently a writer and painter, living with his wife, Judie, in Shoreditch.
